I think the hardest thing for me though is the theory test. I’ve done the test twice already and still haven’t passed it. It’s not that it’s difficult, the questions just psych me out and I start doubting myself, which makes me question what I think is right, and this ends up causing me to submit the wrong answers.
I love driving! My instructor, whose name I can’t actually remember, is awesome and I’m really confident when I drive with him. He doesn’t always tell me how I’m doing, but he never nags and yells at me when I do something bad. This boosts my confidence and also helps me learn how to drive with ease when there’s someone else in the car.
I’m learning to drive manual and it’s so much fun. If I’m being honest, I don’t actually like driving an automatic because it’s too easy and requires one of my legs to have nothing to do. I started learning to drive stick when my papa who was over from England. He was a good instructor, but he did make me nervous because he was always telling me off :P I’m very thankful that he was able to teach me a couple of basics because it did prep me for taking my driving lessons.
I’m excited to finish taking all my lessons and take the driving test so I can start driving around whenever I want, with an adult in the car of course ;). It’s easier to get the hang of things when you drive everyday instead of just once a week.
The only problem is that I have to pass my theory test before I’m able to do the driving test. Hopefully by this week or next I will be able to do and pass the theory. I’ve already studied over five hours straight this week for it, so I think I have a good chance of passing. Wish me luck! Not that that’s a real thing or anything. :P
