Have you ever gone from zero to a hundred in a matter of seconds? How about being so surprised that you cried? Well, both of these things happened to me this week when I got the biggest surprise of my life.

Isn’t YHVH extraordinary?! He never ceases to amaze me! He is constantly working in my life and in the lives of those around me. The testimonies I’ve heard in this last week have been awesome! I can’t wait to start sharing the amazing way YHVH used me and my friends to save a person’s life and bring a smile to another.
After the outreach ended on Saturday night, nothing was the same. I don’t think a single person left feelings like the same person they were when they arrived. Everywhere I look now, I find myself praying for God to show me the people who need prayer or a laugh. Even though the outreach ended, for those involved, it was just the beginning. Is the week over already? I seriously can’t get over how fast it’s gone! My time in the US has flown by so quickly that I don’t want it to end yet. If it were up to me, I’d stay longer and go see my other friends in Pennsylvania.
I’m not sure why, but I keep feeling pulled to go to PA. I don’t know if it’s my heart that wants to see everyone, searching for something it hasn’t found in Johnson City; or if it’s really YHVH calling me to go up there. I guess it really doesn’t matter though since it’s not up to me, and my dad has already told me I have to go back to Israel. Have you ever felt like the week just flew by? Did it end in the blink of an eye? For me, this week has gone by so fast, I’m amazed I’ve found the time to do anything! From going to the beach, being a part of more drama, driving to Tennessee from Florida, and going to see a chiropractor, my week has been anything but a holiday! Don’t get me wrong, I have thoroughly enjoyed this week! There have been so many wonderful events, but there were also some upsetting ones.
Don’t you just hate awkward confrontations? I personally think they’re the most uncomfortable conversations you can have and try to avoid them the best I can. The only problem is that awkward situations seem to follow me like the plague.
I don’t go looking for it, it just shows up on my doorstep and thinks I’m going to be welcoming. The same goes for drama. They both seem to be showing up a lot more frequently this year, and I’m still not 100% sure how to handle them. |
