I wasn’t planning on writing a blog this week. I didn’t think I had much to write about; but, after praying for the right words, God showed me the key points that were worth mentioning. We also had an unexpected trip to the hospital that I had to write about.

I’m sure many of you have heard the saying, “Stop and smell the roses"; but, have you ever considered the meaning behind this idiom? According to The Free Dictionary, the meaning behind this saying is, “To become calm and reflect upon the finer or more enjoyable aspects of life, especially when one has become overworked or overly stressed.” This definition could not be more relevant to the week I’ve had.
Do you like to work? Would you consider yourself a hard worker? I’d like to say I’m a hard worker, but there are days I get lazy and procrastinate.
Proverbs 10:4, “Poor is he who works with a lazy hand, But the hand of the hard worker makes rich.” Life isn’t about making loads of money, you can be rich in a lot of different ways; however, this scripture really spoke to me, this week, because I really do want to prosper in life. When I say that I want to prosper, I don't mean having a lot of money in the bank, though that would be nice. ;) Instead, I want to prosper in the sense that I'm fulfilling God's calling on my life and giving all the glory to Him. In order for me to actually achieve this goal, I need to learn more and work hard. There is so much I want to write about the last two weeks, but I have no idea where to begin! It’s as if I have writer’s block and I can’t seem to get the words I want out. YHVH, tell me the words to write!
The entire trip to the UK was amazing! We saw so many people delivered from false spirits, people coming back to God, and met some wonderful people! I loved every second of the trip and have come home feeling very blessed. YHVH answered more than one of my prayers on this trip and I am still in awe at how well I got on with people I usually butt heads with! |
