From the moment I landed in Toronto, the temperature was in the minuses! I love the snow, but it was far too cold to play in it. Thankfully, I was quite prepared for the weather and had all the right clothes and boots! My dad, however, needed to go shopping so he wouldn't get hypothermia.
Have you ever visited Canada? Maybe you live there, which would be VERY brave of you. However, if you’ve never been I do not suggest you go in the winter. I knew Canada was going to be cold, but I wasn’t prepared for just how cold it really was!

Do you find the process of waiting difficult? Are you one of those people who want to know everything immediately, instead of waiting to learn it all at the right time? I can be a rather patient person, but it really depends on the subject.
This week, I began learning what it means to wait on YHVH and listen to what He's saying to me. Though I didn’t have to wait as long as some people do, the answer to my question didn’t come until I’d completely surrendered it all over to YHVH. How often do you ask YHVH about what you should do? Do you give everything over to Him when you ask or hold onto some of it so you can strategize while you wait? Have you ever asked YHVH what He wants you to say or write? Did you get an answer? If so, how did it make you feel?
I’m not a person who can hear YHVH’s voice clearly, though I’m working on it. Instead, when I’m praying or thinking about what I should write for the week’s blog, words come flooding into my mind. If I don’t write them down at that moment, I usual forget them. This Friday, during a time of prayer at a Bible meeting, the words for this week’s blog came to me. It was awkward to be on my phone while everyone was praying, but I knew that if I didn’t write it all down during that time, this week’s blog wasn’t going to be as good as it could be. |
